I wanted to email you to express thanks from all our family for a wonderful holiday at Trevillett Mill.

The property, and the location, is really fabulous and suited us down to the ground.  The kitchen is so well supplied with all the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery in such plentiful number and in fact everything one could possibly need seemed to there all helping in making it a terrific experience.

As I have no doubt you are already aware Tracy is a delight to deal with and made us feel very welcome on arrival and the guided tour was very helpful and much appreciated.  The cream tea went down a treat too.

We hope to come again in the future but for now it’s just a big Thank you.

Henderson Family, Wiltshire, France & the Far East

We wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay at your amazing mill last week. The whole family had such a great time and everyone was blown away by the mill and  it’s surroundings!  I think it’s probably the best equipped property I’ve ever stayed in….everything had been thought of and provided! Thank you too for organising the weather for us!!! We hope to return in the future. God bless.

Stockley family, Berkshire

We have now sadly arrived back in Reading after a fantastic week at Trevillett Mill. We all had a brilliant time – I have posted a review on Trip Advisor but wanted to tell you personally that we all thought Trevillett Mill was a wonderful place to stay. Not only was the accommodation outstanding, but the location was out of this world. Every day we walked through Rocky Valley and being able to walk up to the coastal path without the need for getting the car out was sublime. We will never forget the stunning scenery and the beauty of Rocky Valley. We all loved Tintagel and being so close to it meant we weren’t driving for long in the car to get to it which was excellent. We loved Boscastle too so the location of Trevillett Mill could not have been more perfect for us. We hope you will let us all come back one day. We are already missing it and after looking forward to it for fourteen months through the whole horrible Covid thing, we cannot believe that it is now over. Thank you so very much for a fabulous holiday.

Spliid-Clausen family, Denmark

A unique historical mill – unique surroundings – unspoiled with rich flowering fields and verges and, and, and, new experiences around the corner… we would love to return.  One of (if not the best) experiences we have had of UK holiday stays!

Simmonds family, Norfolk

We have a lovely long weekeend at this beautiful house,  Such a warm welcome and treat with cream teas.  House was well equipped, which made the stay so much easier with small children.  Beautiful surroundings and great walks.

Laura and family, Somerset

Just a few lines to say that myself and my family had an amazing time at Trevillett Mill this weekend, from the moment my partner and I were greeted by Tracy until the time we all left. We could not have chosen any where better to celebrate my father in laws 60th and my 30th. The Mill itself was beautiful and full of character, with beautiful walks which were great for all 12 of us and, the dogs! The pictures on line don’t do it justice! We hoped for a great weekend however the Mill and the situation exceeded all expectations, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for all your help in regards to booking and making things so easy and straight forward. Tracy was lovely and it was nice to know if there was any issues she would be on hand if needed. Tracy made us feel like nothing was too much trouble! Fantastic all round! Thank you again.

Had a lovely week.  This is the perfect cottage in a beautiful setting.  It’s been wonderful to potter about, wonder down to the river and relax.  The coastal path to Tintagel is wonderful and finding Bossiney Beach was great.  This was our first vsit to Cornwall and we will be back.

Ken and Nikki, Solihull

What a wonderful, quaint, mystical cottage.  Peaceful, Tranquil, relaxing, stunning views, fantastic walks and teh most beautiful beach – Bossiney.  Weather very mixed but did not spoil our enjoyment.

Kim and Eric, Aylesbury

We had a very relaxing week.  The cottage is very quaint and comfortable and we enjoyed our walks to the coastal path and especially the beach at Bossiney Haven.

Vicki and Peter, Derbyshire

Had a fabulous fortnight, weather glorious, scenery stunning.  Have walked most of the coast from Cracklington to Polzeath and will be back next year. The cottage was wonderfully cosy and atmospheric – very relaxing.  Although the stream that runs past the cottages is only small, I managed to get a bite! There were some brown trout that were rising to bread flakes although slugs worked as well.  The best spot seemed to be down by the bridge where the water was deepest.

Jo and Jodi, Reading

“Got back at 3pm this afternoon and had to e-mail you to let you know what a great time we had. The cottage was superb and really well equipped . Tracy was very friendly and helpful and made sure that we wanted for nothing.
All in all we had a great time and if the schedule allows will try and arrange to get down there again in September.”

Kevin and Emma, Leicester
“Just sending you a quick email to compliment you on the cottages at Trevillett Mill. They are in a fabulous location, the scenery & walk to the coast is stunning. Your housekeeper kindly showed us round the mill house before we departed & both Emma & myself were both lost for words, & also very envious that we don’t own it. Rarely have we been in a house with so much character, we had a sense of anticipation as we entered each room, but the kitchen had to be singled out as our particular favourite for its size, how it is furnished &, of course, the wheel. The views from the windows & patio looking downstream are breathtaking. Emma has a big birthday next year so we are trying to plan a date when the whole family can come down & rent the whole complex. We certainly can’t wait for our next
visit. All the cottages are so special & we have told all our friends about them, indeed one of Emma’s work colleagues is already planning a holiday down there.  Once again many thanks for an unforgettable week & we hope to see you on our next visit.”

Carol, Salisbury
What an idyllic location – just perfect for the whole of Cornwall. My favourite place – Bossiney Cove – I could ramble on for ever but won’t – Wonderful!

Alan and Wendy, Birmingham

For us who dwell among the Surrey hills, this valley with its raugged edifices and tumbling waters is awesome. Especially to the haptic perceptions of our lives with minimum sight. The welcome was warm and the stone cottage cosy.  The surrounding sound giving an air of magic as the mythical legends of this area.

Luke and Helen, Gomshall
Great cottage, beautiful smelling bed linen. Thank you. Awesome walks around the direct area.

Jenn and Matt, Falmouth
Epic views on the coastal paths to Tintagel and Boscastle.  Cream tea on arrival – awesome! Tracy was so welcoming and friendly and helped in any way she could.

Jim and Aileen, Salisbury
Wonderful weekend in this comfortable, restful cottage. Tumbling water, wind in the trees. Great walk down the Rocky Valley to the coastal paths with stunning views.  Warm friendly welcome from Tracy, who was helpful throughout our short stay.

Susannah and Tom, London
Wonderful few days in this beautiful cottage – we didn’t want to go home! Lovely walks fom here and trips to Widemouth Bay and Polzeath.  Recommend both the Mill Inn and Port William pubs in Trebarwith.

I want to follow up with you after our stay in Trevillett Mill to tell you how much we enjoyed both the house and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful week and the house was the perfect home base from which to explore North Cornwall. We were very appreciative of all the house had to offer and also very impressed with Rocky Valley. I was especially delighted when we came upon the ancient carvings in the rock!

Sarah, Hampshire
Rocky valley is enchanting for so many reasons and we all felt it very hard to leave.

Rob and Simone, Walsall
Just a quick email to let you know that we had a wonderful time at Trout Beck earlier this week, and to thank you for letting us book the additional night at such short notice. We were very lucky with the weather so managed to fit in sea walks to both Boscastle and Tintagel during our stay. We were blown away by scenery and took literally hundreds of photos which I’m going to start sorting through over the next few days. I’ll post a few to you, if that’s okay, to put onto your Facebook page? Tracy was fantastic and we enjoyed a good chat with her just before we left – her love for the area was evident in our conversation.
We’ll definitely look at visiting again in the future and would love to spend a week there because our four nights went so quickly. We also felt that we only saw or involved ourselves in a fraction of what the area has to offer – we never even got visit Merlin’s cave – so we definitely feel another visit is in the offing.  Thanks again and enjoy your weekend.

Julie and guests, Surrey
So glad we found the mill, a real home from home with everything we could need.  Wonderful setting, lovely countryside – thank you.

Well, we’re back home now and, like Brigadoon, we’re already wondering if it really happened. The Mill could not have been more perfect (well, maybe if the taps ran beer and wine… but let’s not get greedy). Since we came with three kids–ages, 2, 4, 6–we could not believe the array of toys… toys we couldn’t have brought with us even if we had thought to do so. The most spectacular room for them was the little loft hide-away with the mini tent palace and games galore. The cream tea at the beginning really knocked it out of the park (baseball term) and the scenery and walks down to where the sea roars in like water from a blender was all quite spectacular!
A mission for us was to get to Port Isaac during the filming of the last season of ‘Doc Martin’. We did arrive on the day but it must have been a quick scene, because all we were able to see was a quick glimpse of Martin Clunes zooming out of town in his sports car. I claim that as a success, though. Thank you again for providing such a wonderful place for the holiday of a lifetime!

Oiaga and Mihalache families, Romania

Thanks you for this amazing house.  We celebrated our Easter here and we enjoyed every bit.  The (Mill) house provided every facility needed and we were very pleased.  We will definitely return  – beautiful views and landscapes and very peaceful.

Williams and Constable families, London

What a find! Everything we had hoped for. Such a beautiful location and such lovely Mill. We challenged ourselves to find something that the Mill wasn’t equipped with, but failed. Thanks for a great week. The walk to Boscastle on the coast path and also St Nectan’s Glen waterfall are a ‘must do’!
